Agreement signed between IDDEEA and the Municipal Court in Travnik – The new Agreement opens the door to more efficient legal procedures in Bosnia and Herzegovina

As a leader in innovation and modernization in the approach to administrative procedures, the Municipality of Travnik continues to set standards in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Municipal Court in Travnik signed an important Agreement with the Agency for Identification Documents, Registers, and Data Exchange of Bosnia and Herzegovina (IDDEEA), introducing new possibilities for more efficient performance of legal procedures.

This Agreement provides permanent access to the reception authority of the Municipal Court through a web service that connects the court with the IDDEEA’s central registers. This means that the court will directly access the registers maintained by the IDDEEA, subject to all applicable legal requirements. This initiative aims to facilitate the implementation of registration procedures and online registration of business entities in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, enabling the verification of the basic data of the founder/owner of the registration entity and authorised representatives.

In accordance with the Law on Amendments to the Law on Registration of Business Entities, which introduces a one-stop shop system, the implementation of this Agreement will significantly accelerate and simplify the process of registering business entities. The one-stop shop offers services to applicants in a real or virtual location, resulting in a more efficient market entry environment for diverse businesses.

This agreement clearly shows the commitment of the Municipality of Travnik to providing support to the economy and establishing a business-friendly environment.
