Ambassador of the Republic of Austria to Bosnia and Herzegovina, H.E. Ulrike Hartmann visited the headquarters of the Agency for Identification Documents, Registers and Data Exchange of Bosnia and Herzegovina (IDDEEA), where she was welcomed by the Director, Almir Badnjević.
Director Badnjević proudly presented the achievements of the past few months, highlighting the efforts of the Agency in digitalization and improvement of services to citizens. Along with the presentation of the digital signature, the director announced the launch of a digital wallet aiming to allow citizens to carry out various transactions from the comfort of their own homes and reduce queues.
Ambassador Hartmann emphasized the progress of the Austrian digitization system and supported the efforts of Bosnia and Herzegovina in this direction. She emphasized her interest and satisfaction with the innovations of the IDDEEA Agency, expressing the willingness of the Embassy of Austria to support the Agency in achieving its goals, despite the limited capacities.
It was mutually concluded that digitalization and e-services represent a step forward for the welfare of the citizens and that cooperation between Austria and Bosnia and Herzegovina will be beneficial in achieving these goals.
