As part of the Bled Strategic Forum held in Slovenia, director of the Agency for Identification Documents, Registers and Data Exchange, Mr. Almir Badnjević, had very successful meetings and discussions with important representatives in the field of digital transformation and cyber security.
In the margins of the forum, Mr. Badnjević met with the Minister of Digital Transformation of the Republic of Slovenia, Emilija Stojmenova Duh, and State Secretary, Aida Kamišalić Latifić. During this very important interaction, an agreement was reached on future mutual cooperation between the Agency for Identification Documents, Registers and Data Exchange of BiH and Ministry of Digital Transformation of the Republic of Slovenia. This step aims to facilitate the transfer of knowledge and technology in the field of digital transformation between the two countries, and to improve the exchange of data for the purpose of further development of effective solutions.
Minister of Communications and Transport of Bosnia and Herzegovina, made a special contribution by initiating bilateral cooperation between the two ministries in order to facilitate the implementation of the agreements and improve synergy in the field of digital transformation.
Moreover, the director of the Agency for Identification Documents, Registers and Data Exchange of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Minister Forto met with Mr. Uroš Svete, director of the Government Information Security Office of the Republic of Slovenia. This meeting led to a plan for further bilateral cooperation in cyber security, which will contribute to the protection of information systems and data in both countries.
Director Badnjević emphasized the importance of the achieved results and expressed optimism regarding future steps in improving digital transformation and cyber security. IDDEEA’s commitment and leadership in this area continues to help Bosnia and Herzegovina make significant progress in the digital era.
