A working meeting of the management of the Agency for Identification Documents, Registers and Data Exchange of BiH with representatives of the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina was held yesterday in Sarajevo. The meeting was attended by Mr. Suad Arnautović, the president and members of the CEC of BiH, Mr. Vlado Rogić, Mr. Ahmet Šantić, Mr. Željko Bakalar and Mr. Jovan Kalaba with associates and representatives of the Agency led by the director, Mr. Almir Badnjević and the head of the Sarajevo Regional Center, Mr. Dražen Vujica.
At the meeting, it was discussed about EU Support for the Pilot Project for the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the application for passive voter registration, and a collaborative document of the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina and IDDEEA titled Unified Methodology and Program for Processing and Maintaining the Central Electoral Register. The two institutions agreed that it is important to carry out the required operations in order to meet the conditions for completion of the pilot project as soon as possible and organize a simulation of the election process.
The application for passive voter registration has been improved up to this point. The participants agreed to amend this document of the Unified Methodology and Program for Processing and Maintaining the Central Electoral Register, which specifies the roles and obligations of the two institutions.
It was resolved that the two institutions would meet every two months, or more frequently if required.
