The Director of the Agency for Identification Documents, Registers, and Data Exchange (IDDEEA BiH) of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr. Almir Badnjević, participated as a lecturer at the Privacy Symposium, which took place in Venice. At this prestigious meeting, the Director spoke on the panel entitled “Secondary Use of Data: Needs and Challenges,” presenting innovative solutions that IDDEEA BiH implements aiming to protect the personal data of citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
In his presentation, Director Badnjević underlined the need for privacy protection in the digital age, particularly given the amount of data collected and processed daily. Through these activities, the Agency contributes to the fulfilment of objectives 2 and 3 of the EU Digital Strategy.
The Director further pointed out that IDDEEA BiH is committed to continuous improvement of its systems and processes to ensure compliance with the most recent data protection standards and regulations.
