The Director of the Agency for Identification Documents, Registers, and Data Exchange of Bosnia and Herzegovina (IDDEEA), Prof. Dr. Almir Badnjević, attended a regular meeting of international economic representatives, hosted by the Representative Office of the German Economy in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
At the meeting, alongside Director Badnjević representing IDDEEA BiH, there were attendees from the Embassy of Germany in BiH, the American Chamber of Commerce in BiH (AmCham BiH), the Embassy of the United States in BiH, the Association of Italian Entrepreneurs in BiH (AIIBH), the Embassy of Italy in BiH, ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA BiH, the Embassy of Austria in BiH, the Embassy of France in BiH, the Embassy of Switzerland in BiH, the Embassy of Sweden in BiH, and the Embassy of the United Kingdom in BiH.
The working group aims to identify common themes and, in cooperation with local institutions, discuss current obstacles and provide assistance to overcome them. The topic of this meeting was “Digital Signature and Cyber Security.”
Director Badnjević elaborated on the activities and challenges faced by IDDEEA BiH, emphasizing the Agency’s role in the digital transformation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the implementation of electronic signatures, and the BiH digital identity, with a special focus on cyber security. Representatives from all embassies and international organizations thanked the Director of the Agency for a lot of useful information and expressed their full support for the continued efforts in the field of digital transformation in BiH.
