Director of IDDEEA BiH Presented the Open Data Portal with Application of AI at a Workshop in Paris

With the support of the Regional School of Public Administration (ReSPA), the Director of the Agency for Identification Documents, Registers, and Data Exchange of Bosnia and Herzegovina (IDDEEA), Mr. Almir Badnjević, participated in a prestigious workshop in Paris intended for data providing institutions. As the only representative from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Director Badnjević gave a professional presentation on the application of artificial intelligence and open data in the operations of government agencies.

During the presentation, the director provided a detailed overview of the citizen database managed and technically maintained by IDDEEA BiH, as well as the IDDEEA Open Data Portal. He highlighted the advanced artificial intelligence tools used for data analysis, enabling predictive analytics and a high degree of data integration and consistency. He emphasized that these tools play a crucial role in monitoring demographic trends and ensuring data reliability, contributing to the enhancement of the quality and reliability of public services.

Apart from Bosnia and Herzegovina, representatives from 25 European Union countries attended the workshop, facilitating the exchange of best practices and experiences in the application of open data technology and artificial intelligence in public administrations. The workshop provided an opportunity for experts to network and discuss strategies to enhance data dependability, efficiency, and transparency for the benefit of citizens.
