The governor, Ms. Jasmina Selimović, led a delegation from the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which also included Mr. Marko Vidaković, vice governor of the Central Bank, and Mr. Zoran Babić, director of the Main Bank of the Republika Srpska. Mr. Almir Badnjević, Director of the Agency for Identification Documents, Registers, and Data Exchange of Bosnia and Herzegovina, welcomed the delegation.
Digital transformation, i.e., the integration of the IDDEEA DMS system into the business processes of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina, was discussed at the meeting. Director Badnjević clarified that the Agency had sophisticated technology with an electronic signature, which can significantly increase the efficiency of business processes at the Central Bank while providing the required security that the Bank demands. The adoption of cutting-edge digital technologies, like the DMS system, will assist the public sector in accomplishing Sustainable Development Goal 9 and enhancing its infrastructure and technical advancements.
In addition to praising the Agency’s current efforts, particularly in the area of digitization, Governor Selimović declared that the Bank is open to any solution that streamlines operations while upholding the security standards outlined in the Bank’s policies. This cooperation represents support for digital transformation in the public institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is also one of the priorities of the EU for the advancement of digital skills.
