A meeting was held in Sarajevo between the Director of the Agency for Identification Documents, Registers, and Data Exchange of Bosnia and Herzegovina (IDDEEA), Mr. Almir Badnjević, and the President of the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina (HJPC BiH), Mr. Sanin Bogunić.
With an emphasis on the digitalisation of services, modernisation of processes, and enhancement of data security, the main issue of the meeting was enhancing cooperation between IDDEEA and judicial institutions. The discussion included the use of the qualified electronic signature, provided by IDDEEA, in the judicial system of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which would significantly increase the efficiency and transparency of legal processes.
One of the primary strategic objectives of Bosnia and Herzegovina inside the larger process of European integration is the digital transformation of the judiciary
By reducing administrative barriers and enhancing access to justice for both citizens and institutions, the qualified electronic signature enables quicker, safer, and legally legitimate communication within the legal system.
The use of the qualified electronic signature enables faster, more secure, and legally valid communication within the judicial system, improving access to justice for citizens and institutions.
This meeting once again highlights the importance of state cooperation and institutional synergy aimed at modernising and improving services for the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina. IDDEEA BiH and HJPC BiH remain committed to working together on the further development of digital solutions that will ensure a faster, more secure, and more efficient judicial system in BiH.
