Cooperation between the Agency for Identification Documents, Registers, and Data Exchange of Bosnia and Herzegovina (IDDEEA) and the renowned Malaysian company MIMOS has been made official, thus opening the door for the joint development of a digital identity for our citizens.
At the meeting between the directors of MIMOS, Mr. Saat Shukri Embong, and the director of IDDEEA BiH Mr. Almir Badnjević, a mutual understanding was reached about collaborative efforts towards the advancement of technological solutions and the creation of digital IDs.
The significance of the collaboration between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Malaysia was highlighted by Director Badnjević, who also committed to starting a bilateral agreement between the governments of these two countries on the exchange of information, technology, and experiences. Furthermore, Malaysia and Bosnia and Herzegovina have been friends for a long time, and this partnership creates new chances for technological advancement.
