The Agency for Identification Documents, Registers, and Data Exchange of Bosnia and Herzegovina (IDDEEA) has been officially invited to participate in the pilot project of the “WE BUILD” Consortium within the Digital Europe Programme. Our involvement in the project will be as an associated partner, offering a valuable opportunity to further enhance digital services and contribute to the development of a digital wallet.
The “WE BUILD” project is coordinated by the Ministry of Economic Affairs of the Netherlands and the Swedish Government Agency for the Company Register – Bolagsverket. This ambitious consortium brings together prominent partners in the fields of digitization and public administration, including ICTU, the Dutch government organization working on the digitization of public institutions; DIGG, the Agency for Digital Government under the Ministry of Finance of Sweden responsible for the digitalization of public administration; KVK, the Netherlands Chamber of Commerce; the Finnish Tax Agency, VISA; Archipels FR, a certification and verification platform; SUNET, the Swedish University Computer Network; and GRNET, the National Research and Education Network of Greece.
The new series of pilot projects, which includes the development of a digital wallet, is expected to begin in mid-2025. IDDEEA BiH’s participation in the “WE BUILD” Consortium represents both recognition and an additional motivation to improve digital services in Bosnia and Herzegovina, providing citizens and legal entities with safer and faster access to digital services.
