Activating a digital identity provides electronic access to a variety of services. Citizens now have access to their personal records and, more significantly, can use a globally recognised digital signature. Mr. Almir Badnjević, Director of the Agency for Identification Documents, Registers, and Data Exchange of Bosnia and Herzegovina, discussed this topic as a guest on FBiH Radio. He expressed his expectations that as many institutions, cities and municipalities as possible will contact IDDEEA BiH with the request to provide them with free electronic data exchange.
Furthermore, he revealed a new mobile application that the Agency will develop to comply with the most recent eIDAS standards, which will be used as a digital wallet for existing and future services, including the ability to digitally sign.
