IDDEEA Improves Its Services and e-Services Available with e-Signature

In order to provide advanced digital solutions and modernize public services, the Agency for Identification Documents, Registers, and Data Exchange (IDDEEA) continuously improves its services and e-services, which, as of January 15, 2025, will be available exclusively with the possession of a qualified electronic signature (QES). Through innovations and the introduction of new functionalities, IDDEEA enables simpler, safer, and more efficient access to services, contributing to further digitalization and modernization of the system in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

As part of this improvement, all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina who have previously applied for a qualified electronic signature at one of the Registration Authorities of IDDEEA will be able to use additional services on the Digital Representation portal from January 15, 2025. This portal introduces integration of new services and a higher level of security.

On this portal, citizens will have access to e-services such as:

  • Checking the status of personal document requests
  • Checking unpaid fines for individuals and legal entities in Bosnia and Herzegovina
  • Viewing valid personal documents
  • Information on registered vehicles in their name
  • Access to the application for remote electronic signing

Citizens without a registered qualified electronic signature can apply for one at IDDEEA Registration Authorities in Banja Luka, Sarajevo, Bihać, Bijeljina, and Mostar. When registering in person and submitting a request for the issuance of a qualified certificate at an authorised IDDEEA Registration Authority, each user will be given a printed form with access parameters by an authorised officer, which they will enter into specific fields on the remote electronic signing application, in addition to the request form and the certification service agreement.
