Issuance of certificates
Issuance of a qualified digital certificate for electronic signature - IDDEEA CA
A physical entity (requester) submits the request for issuing a qualified digital certificate with a Registration Authority Office (RA Office), subject to the following procedure:
At the location of the RA Office, the requester submits an identification document (an identity card or a passport) for identification, signs the Agreement on Issuance and Use of a Qualified Digital Certificate for Remote Signing, and downloads one copy of the Agreement and FORM O_KP_1 Access parameters.
The requester accesses the RA Office of the IDDEEA CA and provides a legitimate identity document (passport or identity card) to prove his identity. Following successful identification, in close collaboration with the designated officer, he or she submits the data required by the Request for the Issuance of a Qualified Digital Certificate.
The requested data is entered in the request, which the authorised officer of the IDDEEA CA registers electronically in the IDDEEA RA request. After a successful completion of the request for the issuance of a qualified digital certificate, the authorised officer of the IDDEEA CA prints the request form, in which the necessary data has been entered, and hands it over to the requester for insight. The requester is obliged to check the accuracy of the entered data and confirm it with his signature, which formally proves that the request has been submitted.
An authorised officer in the RA Office enters the user’s data, creates a request in the IDDEEA RA request, and forwards the verified request to the PKI IDDEEA operational body.
After submitting the request, the authorised officer prepares the form of the Agreement on the Issuance and Use of a Qualified Digital Certificate. The requester signs the agreement. A written copy of the IDDEEA CA General Terms of Use of Qualified Digital Certificates is delivered to the requester together with the Agreement.
At the end, the user is also handed the FORM O_KP_1 Access parameters, with instructions for registration, while the registered email address, the activation code, and instructions for using the qualified digital certificate are delivered to the user through another communication channel.
