Linked e-services for citizens
The linked e-services represent electronic services developed by various institutions within their respective areas of competence. Their implementation relies on the technical support of the Agency for Identification Documents, Registers, and Data Exchange of Bosnia and Herzegovina (IDDEEA). Through web services, these institutions have continuous access to the registers maintained by IDDEEA, ensuring the seamless operation and efficiency of their business processes and services.
eBaby
eBaby is an information system developed by Republika Srpska that allows parents, who meet the eligibility criteria, to electronically register the birth of their child at a health facility (maternity ward). After registration, the parents receive their child’s official documents, such as the birth certificate and citizenship certificate for Republika Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina, delivered to their home address. Through this system, parents can obtain and receive these documents free of charge.
The Ministry of Interior of Republika Srpska uses IDDEEA’s web services to access the Agency’s registers. This access enables the Ministry to verify and assign the unique identification number (JMB) and register the child’s place of residence. Once the registration process is complete, the information is returned to the parents via the eBaby system.
eRegistrar
The eRegistrar system allows citizens to submit requests for the issuance of various certificates, as well as make online payments via bank cards, through an electronic application available on the official website of the Municipality of Centar Sarajevo. The municipality has signed an agreement with IDDEEA for permanent access to data via a web service, providing direct access to IDDEEA’s databases. This access is crucial for the proper functioning of the eRegistrar system, which allows for fast processing of requests and eliminates the need for in-person visits, saving time for users.
eInsurer
eInsurer is a digital service provided by the Institute of Health Insurance of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton. This service allows insured individuals to access their health insurance information through the Institute’s website, including details about their insurance status, policy holders, duration of coverage, premium payments, and services for issuing electronic insurance certificates and e-books.
The Institute has signed an agreement with IDDEEA to obtain permanent access to the necessary data through web services. This enables the Institute to retrieve up-to-date information from IDDEEA’s registers, which is essential for the proper functioning of the eInsurer system.
eNewbornMother
The eNewbornMother service is an electronic application that allows parents to submit a request for financial assistance for the birth of a child, available on the official website of the Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Policy. After parents submit their request electronically, the Ministry verifies the entered information through the official registers maintained by IDDEEA.
The verification process checks the citizenship status of the parents and child, the child’s birth year, and the parents’ place of residence, ensuring the information is accurate and up-to-date. If all the data is validated, the request for financial assistance is approved and processed.
