The Director of the Agency for Identification Documents, Registers, and Data Exchange of Bosnia and Herzegovina (IDDEEA), Mr. Almir Badnjević, visited the United Kingdom on an official trip, where he met with the UK Government Digital Service, operating as a part of the Department for Science, Innovation, and Technology.
The main topics of the meeting included the exchange of experiences in areas such as electronic signatures, electronic services, digital identity, and digital wallets. Both sides presented their technological and regulatory solutions, discussed best practices, and considered the challenges in implementing modern digital services.
Particular focus was on models of electronic identification for citizens, system interoperability, the security of digital solutions, and the improvement of public services through digitalisation. Future cooperation and continuous exchange of experiences were agreed upon, with the goal of advancing digital transformation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, based on successful models from the United Kingdom.
This meeting represents another step in IDDEEA’s efforts to provide citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina with safer, faster, and more efficient digital services, aligned with European and global standards.
