Director of the Agency for Identification Documents, Registers and Data Exchange of Bosnia and Herzegovina (IDDEEA BiH), Almir Badnjević visited the director of the Agency for Forensic and Expert Examinations, Radiša Samardžija.
The presentation of organisational structures and work results of both institutions were among the topics covered at today’s meeting, another was how to build on the productive partnership that has been established thus far by guaranteeing reliable databases, infrastructure, registers, and data exchange that the Agency for Forensic and Expert Examinations uses to carry out its legally mandated duties. The participants underlined during the meeting that both organisations are vital to maintaining the security and stability of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s social structure, and that the databases held by IDDEEA BiH offer crucial data and identity documents that are essential for proper decision-making and ensuring order and security. Those databases are regularly used by the Agency for Forensic and Expert Examinations when carries out its own forensic and expert examinations.
At the end of the meeting, it was agreed that the previous cooperation between these two institutions at the state level should be improved and strengthened through comprehensive mutual support and high-quality services, as well as the improvement of work processes and the provision of quick and efficient access to relevant data.
