Municipality of Grude and IDDEEA Signed an Agreement to Improve Digital Services

The Municipality of Grude has signed an Agreement for continuous data access via web services with the Agency for Identification Documents, Registers, and Data Exchange (IDDEEA), enabling faster and more efficient access to necessary information and services for the citizens of Grude.

This agreement, a result of local government efforts to improve services for citizens, creates prerequisite for online access to various registers and data, allowing for quicker document issuance, easier completion of administrative tasks, and reduced waiting times. The agreement is also aligned with the EU Digital Strategy, particularly Goal 6, which concerns data exchange and interoperability, and contributes to achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially Goals 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions) and 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).

Some of the benefits of this collaboration between local communities and IDDEEA include faster data availability, which will also speed up the processing of requests, ultimately reducing waiting times for various services. Digitalization and direct data access will enable more efficient administrative tasks, reducing bureaucratic barriers for citizens.

This step towards digitization and modernization of the local administration is a significant move toward faster services for all citizens of Grude. IDDEEA remains committed to further improving services and assisting all institutions in this process by guaranteeing more effective data exchange and improving administrative processes at all levels.
