The Bank Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina, headed by President Edis Ražanic, met together with the Director of the Agency for Identification Documents, Registers and Data Exchange of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr. Almir Badnjević and his team in the IDDEEA BiH premises. At the meeting, an agreement was reached on the development of a system for secure digital representation and signing.
Mr. Edis Ražanica, the head of the Bank Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina, pointed out: “This partnership is a step towards modernising the banking sector in the country. Developing a secure digital signature will allow us to better meet the needs of our clients and provide more efficient services.”
Director of IDDEEA BiH, Almir Badnjević, added: ” The security of electronic signatures is critical for establishing trust in digital transactions. Our Agency will offer all of the resources and support required to ensure that this system is highly secure.”
The meeting was attended by bank representatives responsible for digital banking, IT security, and market development. After analysing the issue of electronic signature security and other important issues developed by IDDEEA, it was decided that the construction of a system for safe digital signing would begin immediately.
This initiative aims to speed up the digitization of the banking sector and provide users with reliable and trustworthy digital services. The Bank Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Agency for Identification Documents, Registers, and Data Exchange of Bosnia and Herzegovina remain committed to further development of digital technology for the benefit of all Bosnian and Herzegovinian citizens and businesses.
