The city of Konjic is one more city that has signed an important agreement with the Agency for Identification Documents, Registers, and Data Exchange of Bosnia and Herzegovina on permanent access to data through web services. This agreement opens up new opportunities for more efficient implementation of legal procedures and improvement of administrative services in the city of Konjic.
By signing this agreement, the city of Konjic is granted permanent access to data from the registers technically managed and maintained by IDDEEA. Connecting the city with the records maintained by the IDDEEA through the web service enables direct and secure access to the necessary data, subject to applicable legal regulations.
This cooperation significantly improves data exchange and simplifies administrative procedures, which contributes to greater availability and transparency of public services. The agreement is aligned with the EU Digital Strategy, especially with Goal 6, which refers to data exchange and interoperability, and contributes to the achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions) and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the goals).
The relationship between the City of Konjic and IDDEEA demonstrates how public services may be improved in a sustainable manner through digitisation. The city of Konjic can now respond to its citizens’ requests more promptly and effectively, lowering administrative barriers and boosting information accessibility.
IDDEEA will continue to assist cities and municipalities in their attempts to become more efficient, thereby strengthening local communities and enhancing the quality of services provided to citizens.
