Director of the Agency for Identification Documents, Registers, and Data Exchange of Bosnia and Herzegovina (IDDEEA BiH), Mr. Almir Badnjević, participated as a speaker at the 11th Micrographics Conference, which took place in Sarajevo. During the Conference, Director Badnjević discussed electronic document signing and digital wallets, highlighting their usefulness in improving administrative efficiency and speed.
Access to services for citizens and legal entities is facilitated by the electronic signing of documents, which allows for the safe and legitimate distribution of data in digital format. Badnjević emphasised that electronic signatures are a crucial milestone in Bosnia and Herzegovina’s digital transformation process since they make administrative activities faster and safer, and require less paperwork. Through the projects implemented by IDDEEA, this technology becomes available to all citizens of BiH, which contributes to the modernisation and transparency of public services.
At this conference, director Badnjević also met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia to BiH, H.E. Damian Sedar, who had the opening speech at the Conference. In his address, Ambassador Sedar identified IDDEEA BiH as the institution that has made the greatest progress in integrating cutting-edge technologies into public administration during the previous year.
