Ambassador of the Czech Republic in Bosnia and Herzegovina, H.E. Jane K. Lolić Šindelková, held her first official meeting with the director of the Agency for Identification Documents, Registers and Data Exchange of Bosnia and Herzegovina Mr. Almir Badnjević. The meeting was held as part of a project focusing on the introduction of international ISO standards and penetration testing (PEN test), which is being implemented by the Czech government.
The project aimed to strengthen IDDEEA’s cyber security and administrative operations by implementing PEN tests and international ISO certificates. The activities are divided into several important steps, which include assessing the current situation, conducting penetration testing, developing a plan for implementing the requirements of ISO, and evaluating the results.
The penetration test will attempt to develop an IDDEEA cyber security assessment and evaluate the security of the computer system, network, and applications. This assessment will identify areas of weakness and possibilities for development in compliance with ISO.
Ambassador Lolić Šindelková and the Agency director Mr. Badnjević emphasised the significance of this project in enhancing digital security and efficiency of public services in Bosnia and Herzegovina. They also emphasised that this project is a significant step towards modernising public administration and upgrading security measures to the highest international standards.
The project of implementing ISO standards and penetration testing will continue in the coming months, and the results will be presented at the final meeting, followed by the preparation of the final report. This project is expected to lay the groundwork for long-term improvements to IDDEEA’s security and administrative capabilities. The aim of the meeting is to inform the public about an important project that will increase digital security and administrative efficiency in Bosnia and Herzegovina while also enhancing collaboration between the Czech Republic and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
