The future of healthcare is digital: The initiative for the partnership of the Clinical Center Sarajevo and IDDEEA BiH has been launched

To improve business processes and provide more efficient health services, the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo and the Agency for Identification Documents, Records and Data Exchange of Bosnia and Herzegovina (IDDEEA BiH) launched an initiative to establish cooperation on the implementation of the Document Management System (DMS) with the use of qualified electronic signature.

At the meeting held with the management of the Clinical Center, the representatives of IDDEEA BiH, led by the director prof. Ph.D. Almir Badnjević expressed their willingness to assist with this significant pilot project. With its many years of experience, IDDEEA BiH is ready to help in the implementation of DMS and digital signing with qualified certificates and offers its professional knowledge to improve the administrative procedures in the Clinical Center.

Acting director of the Clinical Center, Dr. Alen Pilav, expressed his enthusiasm and high expectations of this initiative while highlighting the benefits of using DMS.

Efficiency, the speed at which administrative tasks are completed, transparency, and document security are all crucial areas that we hope this program will enhance. Digitization of documents and easier circulation will provide faster access to information, reduce the risk of loss or damage of documents, and improve the patient experience”, emphasized Pilav.

Mr. Almir Badnjević, director of IDDEEA BiH, emphasised the value of partnership and expressed his belief that the experiences of the Agency will help optimise the business procedures of the Clinical Center

“The Clinical Centre is a valuable institution. Digitization of health records and electronic signing offer significant benefits to the health sector. Our goal is to enhance patient access to health services and facilitate the online submission of requests in the future,” said Badnjević.

The strategic partnership has the potential to significantly enhance the healthcare system in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Implementing a DMS with qualified electronic signatures will lay the groundwork for a more expedited exchange of documents, increased efficiency, and modernised access to health services. The Clinical Centre of the University of Sarajevo and IDDEEA BiH are eagerly awaiting the beneficial outcome of our partnership.
