Neum hosts NetWork 11, the largest business and technology conference in BiH. Almir Badnjević, the director of the Agency for Identification Documents, Registers, and Data Exchange of Bosnia and Herzegovina (IDDEEA BiH), was a panelist at this year’s conference, explaining the role and plans of the Agency in the digitization of public administration services.
This three-day event, organised by the Communis agency, combines innovation, knowledge, and leadership, bringing together over 1,100 prominent experts, innovators, IT company founders, and investors from across the region.
On the first day of the Conference, three panel discussions focused on digitization in the public and commercial sectors were held during the Business Day segment, examining significant subjects such as financial innovations, best practises in digitalization, and other contemporary concerns.
The panel discussion “Digitization of public administration services in Bosnia and Herzegovina – better days ahead?” was one of the main events, and it addressed current challenges concerning the digitization of public administration services.
Director of the Agency for Identification Documents, Registers, and Data Exchange of Bosnia and Herzegovina (IDDEEA BiH), Almir Badnjević, was also a panelist at this year’s conference, who explained the role and ambitions of the Agency for digitalizing public administration services. “IDDEEA BiH is prepared to facilitate the entry of electronic certificates into the identity cards of BiH citizens as soon as the legislative prerequisites are met. We are already accredited by the required international houses for this procedure, which confirms that the service we will deliver to our citizens will meet the highest international standards in that sector.”
Speakers included Edin Forto, Minister of Communications and Transport of Bosnia and Herzegovina, who stated that “digital transformation will only make sense if the citizens and economy of Bosnia and Herzegovina see tangible benefits from it,” as well as Svjetlana Perković, Aida Soko, Denis Turkanović, and Damir Dizdarević, who played the role of a moderator for this year’s panel.
The Conference will be extended by the participation of more than 80 high-quality lectures split across six stages, as well as more than 90 eminent domestic and foreign speakers presenting the newest trends and developments. The Conference runs through Friday, and in addition to the opportunity to acquire new knowledge, the NetWork provides an exceptional opportunity to build business relationships and establish new collaborations.
